Check List
- Check on coolant (See Ram Promaster Coolant Leak Issues)
- Check water level
- Check Drainage hole in front
- Check wiring bolts that aren't loose
Maintenance Plan
- Change Cabin Filter
- Change Engine Filter
- Change Oil and Oil Filter every 5,000 miles - 5 3/4 Quart. Be sure to reset Oil Change light as followed: Place key in ignition and don't start. Within 10 sec press gas 5 times and then turn off key and on
- Change Transmission fluid every 40,000 miles
- Change Webasto Heater Filter - Once a year
- Changing your Serpentine Belt once a year and idle pulley.
- Clean Water Tank
- Rotate Tires
- Balance Tires
- Alignment
- Change Greywater Vent Value (Studor 20341 Mini-Vent Air Admittance Valve with PVC Adapter, 1-1/2- or 2-Inch Connection) - Every 5 years
Important Don't List
- Do not get a Transmission Flush!
- Don't use oil and gas additives
- Don't use aftermarket coolant. Use only Mopar
- Do not Idle your car for long period of time.
- When Battery Light Come on - Stop immediately. Usually Alternator is broken 9 out of 10 times.
Fluids Info
Coolant:
Premix: MS-12106 Mopar
Concentrate: MS-90032. Mopar
Use only OAT, not HOAT
Prestone Dexcool GM Vehicles is an equivalent
Motor Oil:
MS-6395 - Penzoil Platinum
TRANSMISSION:
ATF + 4: MS-9602 Mopar
Valvoline brand is an equivalent
POWER STEERING:
Pentosin CHF 11S - MS-11655B
Mobile 1
Use Dipstick to see color.
Recommend spare alternator and starter.
