List of Emergency Supplies
Preparing for any situation is a good way to make van life easier. Altogether can be $1000 be worth it. My van has the following items:
1) Telescopic Ladder ($85) to check roof. Not a big fan of those bolt on ladder because of cost and it take away stealth. Hardly use except to check or fix things on roof. Next picture show it stored away.
2) Portable Car Jump Starter with Air Compresser ($85) Every vehicle should have this! Save me and many other people lots of hassle.
3) BlueDriver Bluetooth OBDC Scan Tool ($100) Easy to use and gives some indicator if something is wrong. May not be as powerful as more expensive one shop uses but pretty good though.
4) Flat-Jack Air Tire Level ($170 each) - Easy to use alternative to bulky and hard-to-use leveling blocks for leveling your rig at a campsite. Durable, lightweight and small – stows easily and takes up minimal space.
5) Tools - don't forget electric drill, duct tape, electric tape, etc.
6) Titan Chain Snow Chain - Cable Rollers ($255) - chat with E-trailer.com to find right part. Located in the back tucked by the wheel (you can't see it)
7) Fire Hydrant - Located under the sink in the van.
8) Comprehensive Premium First Aid Kit - Don't skimp and be prepared!
